Ski ropes are usually made at 75 feet with stretch in them; they can stretch 1-3% depending upon the rider. This acts as a shock absorber for the skier. Moving on to the handles, wakeboard handles tend to be quite a bit wider than ski handles. Wakeboard handles are generally made at 13-15 inches wide This is done to help the wakeboarder have more room to grab for behind the back tricks. Whereas ski handles are mainly designed at 11-13 inches wide with the best grip in mind.
